Thorsten Scholz

Thorsten Scholz is a trusted advisor to chairmen and CEOs, especially of multinational listed companies in Europe and North America. He helps ambitious leaders shape and transform their industries while strengthening governance and leadership impact.

His expertise covers CEO performance and board effectiveness, with a focus on benchmarking, evaluations, and performance reviews of boards, CEOs, and C-suite executives. Thorsten also has deep expertise in activism defense, shareholder engagement, and CEO transitions across global markets.

Before joining RefineValue, Thorsten gained senior management expertise in government and regulatory relations at some of the world’s largest oil, gas, and chemical companies. Earlier in his career, he worked at a major investment bank, where he helped drive cultural change and was responsible for board and C-level development. Thorsten started his career at a top-tier management consulting firm.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from LMU Munich.
