Thorsten Scholz

At RefineValue, Thorsten Scholz is passionate about advising boards and executive committees on how to integrate political issues into corporate strategy and thinking. He advises multinational listed companies, large family businesses and global investors. Thorsten is an expert in setting up advisory boards, designing remuneration strategies, benchmarking and supporting cultural change in management bodies. In addition, Thorsten supports boards in developing competency profiles and succession planning.

Prior to joining RefineValue, Thorsten was responsible for government and regulatory relations at BASF and Shell. Prior to that, Thorsten worked at Barclays where he helped shape the cultural change in investment banking and was responsible for the development of compensation structures at board and C-level. Thorsten started his career at McKinsey & Company and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from LMU Munich.
